Instead of going for the win, you keep attempting to prevent your competition from scoring, and once the game is over, you come to find out that you’ve missed every single chance you had to score, because you were so worried about not losing.
How about trying to win instead?

If you’ve got a target to go towards and not away from, you will move towards that goal. When you are always thinking about things you don’t want happening, your mind only recognizes that focus as another goal! Your mind does not understand that you don’t want to have that thing happen. It doesn’t know that you “don’t want to fail”. All it sees is you, focused on failing. So guess what ends up happening? That’s right, you end up failing.
You need something that you can go towards, no different than a target in a darts game. Know what you are shooting at, and know how to get there.
Give yourself a direction to head in to set yourself up for success, and not failure.
If you want a real job online, consider, and focus on all of the things that make that job real for you, not the things that don’t. If you simply want to have the confidence to believe you can do it at all, focus on things that make that real!
