1. Know Your Inner Self-Talk

Thoughts influence your body and mind. Especially, negative thoughts are very dangerous. If you deeply involve in negative thinking, you will suffer stress, anxiety and great pain.

So when you are under stress or facing a life-challenging conflict, you can hear a sort of running commentary in your head. You should always observe that ‘voice in your head’.

Don’t interfere with the voice nor cut it off. Just be neutral and listen to it as if some one was talking to you. This is a wonderful way of evacuating negative thoughts which create disorder.

If you observe closely, you will understand that much of your self-talk is senseless and untrue. When you realize this, suddenly you will feel great relax. It’s an important step in eliminating your panic attacks. So practice being neutral and observing your own thoughts every moment.

2. Be Optimistic

Examine your self-talk and try to be optimistic (if you can’t stand neutral and bear the pain). Whenever your mind suggests a negative thought or emotion, ask yourself if you are jumping to negative conclusions. Try to find positive dimensions to look at the situation.

So swap your negative thought patterns with positive thought patterns.

3. Focus On Breathing

Always breathe like kids. When you suffer from panic attacks, you need to take slow and deeper breaths. So when you feel anxious or tense, shift your concentration onto your breathing. Then breathe slowly and deeply.

So ‘diaphragm breathing’ will help you a lot. It’s the natural way to breathe. Learn and practice it daily to fight panic attacks.

4. Learn To Relax

Relaxing is very important in over coming anxiety and panic attacks. Doing Yoga, meditation, and self-hypnosis will help you a lot. All these will instill great peace in your mind and body.

5. Change Life-Style

Make some lifestyle changes too in your life. Don’t take alcohol, coffee, tea or sugary carbs. By making healthy lifestyle choices, you help yourself to over come panic attacks.
